The Book Thief I didn’t love this as much as everyone else seemed to. I took a big break in reading which probably didn’t help. The narrator was so fun, and I did like all the characters. It felt about 20% too long. Really good, but wasn’t excellent. 4/5 ⭐️

Where the Forest Meets the Stars I quite enjoyed this one! I was confused, but that didn’t stop me. The writing was excellent and boy did I love Ursa. The ending portion did leave something to be desired. And a heartbreaking TW for dog death. Overall a very solid KU read 4/5 ⭐️

I’ve been out of that world for the last 5 years, and my previous job really traumatised me. I could probably find an entry level job and work my way up. But I love being my own boss and having the flexibility to do whatever I want. I’m so torn.

Me having a quarter life crisis… I really would like to try and buy a house next year, but realistically we won’t get approved for very much with my current self employment. So I’m trying to decide if I apply to jobs in the legal field again.

Do jobs exist that don’t involve dealing with the general public for the most part?💀

The Ripple Effect I can confidently say I did not enjoy a second of this book. Every page of this was a struggle to get through because I did not CARE. These characters tried so hard to be deep, but they weren’t. No real connection… it was all tell and no show. 2.5/5 ⭐️ 1/5 🌶️

I’m just thrilled at the notion of a quadruple header and not enjoying my long weekend at all!!!!

My have plans for thanksgiving on Saturday (my dad), Sunday (my mom) and Monday (his fam) and now apparently we’re going out on Friday as well for dinner with his parents for his birthday. Lord save me, this is not the right time in my cycle to be dealing with all of this shit 🫠

Tattered Idk it was fine. Wasn’t fully jiving or connecting with the main adults in this one. I enjoyed the kid! The small mystery aspect was kind of fun, but it also seemed overly dramatic. Not a bad KU read. 3.5/5 ⭐️ 2/5 🌶️
