(1/6) Pre-launch alert 🚨
Opening pre-orders of the Low-Code Starter Pack 🚀
The first course designed to turn you into a low-coder in 20 hours.
Check it here:
Here’s a bit of background 👇
It's been 4 months since I started teaching low-code.
My very first student showed me today how he rebuilt a salary and benefits calculator for Germany with 50+ parameters using
@airtable
and JavaScript.
I love my job.
@ChrisJBakke
Also, if they are looking for a Growth ninja, or a Marketing rockstar, you might be a little disappointed when you join their Avengers team
5k!
We recently crossed 5k revenue with the course.
Not bad considered I had never made a cent on the Internet before.
If you‘re considering building a digital product, this tweet is for you!
Just start!
@domm
@chargebee
is to billing systems what
@HubSpot
is to CRMs: best value for money while keeping your possibilities to scale and increase complexity
Remote work is more than people not going to an office anymore.
It lays the foundation for global competition between states and cities to attract and retain talent.
The bidding war has just begun, not sure whether Europe understands it yet.
Most no-code project requests:
"I need this platform on Bubble that's connected to Mailchimp and Stripe, oh and there will be background workflows with other tools so I'll need Integromat as well. There are 35 screens and it has to be responsive."
Also:
"My budget is 500$"
Last week
@JJEnglert
announced he joined
@softr_io
. Then dropped a first bomb! 💣
Softr now supports the button action 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀.
This is putting Softr in an entirely new dimension.
Now app users can send data to any 3rd-party apps via REST API.
What…
I re-built the Make Partner Directory using
@airtable
and
@softr_io
in 90 minutes this morning.
As part of our last 𝗖𝗼-𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 with our amazing winter cohort from Make students 🫶
I mean, almost 😘
@dvassallo
I love your content but here I must cringe.
Engagement bait.
You do understand some people in this world are driven and want to go this path.
The lie is that it's the only path, I get it.
But come on...
Retool is coming to eat Airtable's lunch.
... and vice versa.
Either way, if you are building internal tools, this is good news.
Here you can see the new Retool Database feature in action.
Looks familiar, doesn't it?
Under the radar no-code tools with a steep learning curve but insane capabilities
@bildrHQ
: web apps, Chrome extenstions, web3
@coda_hq
: Notion on steroids
@nocodebackend
: backend to power your no-code project
@Bravostudioapp
: native mobile apps from a Figma file
Talked to a founder who spent near €100k with an agency to design and build the first version of her mobile app with code.
Now that she needs to iterate she‘s stuck and cannot make rapid changes without them.
Bullish on no-code.
Pleased to announce the launch of the API Starter Pack today:
The 3-week cohort course where non-technical profiles learn to work with APIs.
Some more infos 👇
Time and again I am amazed by how few companies in Europe know that with tools such as
@airtable
or
@retool
you can build robust internal tools in a fraction of the time it would take devs to build one from scratch.
We are so early.
May was a good month for Low-Code Starter Pack!
Some stats:
✨Highlight: won 2 pilots with startups to use the course to train business users
🧑🎓Students: + 28
💰Revenue: EUR 2.4k
📓Lessons added: +8
✍️Exercises added: +3

FINN is paving the way for many other companies starting with no-code in the future.
Their last article outlines the limitations of their no-code stack and why they decided to switch to code to continue scaling.
Must read!
Launching tomorrow! The best resource for operators to learn APIs in no time.
Stop asking favours to your dev team - learn APis and do it yourself
Here's a sneak peek into the curriculum
Today was a fun Co-building session with
@thisisPYV
We built a document generator using
@make_hq
,
@airtable
and Google Docs that populates a template with values specified in Airtable and generates a PDF.
Useful for a variety of use cases:
💰 Quotes
✍️ Contracts
📊 Reports
As much as I love the no-code community, I still find that often what is said misses the mark.
Here is my wish for 2023:
1️⃣ Less feature/tool worship
2️⃣ More business win stories
3️⃣ More technical discussions
Let's go!
I went from 250 to 620+ followers recently, so here's a quick intro:
😊 Name: Alexandre
🇫🇷 Country: born in France, living in Berlin
⌛️ Age: 32
⚽ Hobbies: football, video-games, coding
🎯 Goal: help 10k people become proficient low-coders.
Come say hi! 👋
@MaxCRoser
@_HannahRitchie
Why is nuclear energy, which is as cheap as hydro (0,04ct), the cheapest renewable source, not displayed in this chart?
I really like our world in data, but how can we expect an objective debate on the future of energy while excluding nuclear?
The state of no-code ops in 1 tweet:
✅Already there:
Everyone uses SaaS tools
There is an API for everything
No-code tools give superpowers to non-developers
🟥Missing:
No-code operators able to leverage all of the above
@sweatystartup
A VOSS water bottle.
Drank it. Removed the label. Now carrying it with me all the time. I now drink enough water each day because I enjoy drinking from it.
Cost me 3.50 euro
We shipped a new landing page for our no-code operator crash course and I am quite happy with the result.
The course is free ❤️
