You're right. Instead of playing around and trying to find something that works, they should pay him to sit at home until someone online notices, bring him back for a few meaningless matches before letting him sit the rest of his contract out. Oh, and then tack on injury time.

Correct. The cruiserweights were a sideshow most of the time in WCW. Rey only got a big match when they needed to put heat on a heel. Got a little better when Russo came in, but then he lost his mask and became a stereotype.
