Apart from the practical issues ( it blends in with the crisps) @walkers_crisps changing the blue salt bag to a white one is a cultural abomination 🤪 I mean you even have a blue salt bag as a mascot. I think a march on Leicester is in order. Who’s in?

Put an order on as soon as @marksandspencer announced a staged reintroduction of online orders. Given a date of 24th for delivery, arrived this morning 14th. Good to have you back, your staff have been amazing. I really hope you go from strength to strength now.

Oh @sainsburys did you let the work experience kid design the new store layout. It’s taken me a month to find the loo rolls. Not near tissues and kitchen roll, no 4 aisles away with frozen food.

Really missed @BBCCasualty being on and they’ve come back with a heck of an episode that will hopefully change lives. In fact it was ‘bloody’ great.

Really disappointed to hear @marksandspencer are closing the hazel grove store. It’s always busy, really convenient and the next nearest store doesn’t have free parking during the day. I pop in at least twice a week. Aldi it is then for the regular shop.

Went to a captioned performance @rxtheatre yesterday. Excellent show and even I used the captions occasionally. Just wish there were more captioned perfs in the run as would be ideal for my dad who occasionally struggles to follow fast dialogue

You’d think @marksandspencer would be putting an effort into their flagship new store in the Trafford centre. Half the cafe self service screen broken, till understaffed, staff moaning,no bra fitting appointments available and just an air of corporate don’t care.

Feels like a bit of a deliberate and slightly shady ploy by @BarclaysUK that to open a bond it’s all quick and online, but if you don’t want to reinvest at maturity you have to post them an instruction by snail mail.

Nice visit to @ChatsworthHouse for Christmas today but bit disappointed by the lights trail. Whilst animation is impressive, because the public can’t access the lawns in front of the house it’s distant and a bit blurry if you need glasses. Would have been magical a bit closer

It’s amazing how quickly you lose the desire to shop when you are casually browsing the baked goods in @marksandspencer handforth, and the lady next to you shrieks because a mouse has just run under a shelving unit! No yummy baked goods for me today! Sealed packets only.

Sorted through some more of mums things today. Did a lot after she died but some things I kept putting off. . 16 months on it’s still so hard sometimes putting a brave face on and pretending I’m fine when I’m really not. Or enjoying something and wanting to tell her

Oh dear, @sainsburys in hazel grove are having a bad day - as I arrived the Smart shop system went down, and as I left all the petrol pumps stopped working. I don’t think it was me!

Volunteering with @mifestival today we had schools groups in and I had a fascinating chat with a young lad with ADHD. He explained his coping strategies, his everyday challenges and why he loved his visit. It was eye opening, and one of the reasons I love my festival life

Just seen the preview of #kagami @mifestival . Utterly amazing, beautiful and such a fantastic legacy. I was overwhelmed by it, so much so I burst into tears as I left. So many emotions. I’ve actually rebooked to take others
