🧵1/5 Parks Canada recently welcomed an orphaned black bear cub back to the park. The cub was captive reared this summer after its mother was killed in a vehicle strike on Akamina Parkway.

It's #WildlifeWednesday. We had a baby shorebird brought in needing help. After contacting @AIWC, we found out that he is an American avocet & will look like the picture below when he's full grown! If you find a wild animal in distress you can call us or contact AIWC.
