september 7 when heaven gained you. it’s been a month. now i understand why those who grieve say, "may my grief never leave me" bc grief is the tether that keeps him present. time may soften the weight, but it carries him further into the past. i miss you everyday. 🤍

last wednesday, i told caleb’s sister that i'd been looking for bible verses for comfort (she didn't tell anyone). the very next day, his aunt suddenly started sending me bible verses every day. 🥲

today, grief feels sharper. the further i drift from his last moments alive, the heavier the absence feels.

thank you for finally visiting me in my dream. that whisper felt so real it pulled me awake WITHIN the dream, and made me realize right away that you were trying to communicate with me. 🥹❤️
