Long story short, the model implies that the 'optimal' policy when calibrated to, say, Uganda, would have a much less strict lockdown, reducing both covid infections and consumption levels less than the same model calibrated to US incomes and infection fatality rates. 7/

30% of crop is wastage post harvest due to lack of storage facilities, poor transportation, ineffective marketing, selling practices. Needs intervention on multiple levels: 1. Increase storage capacity. Majority of farmers cultivate small-holdings; do not have storage capacity
