My lights and camera make it look bluer and brighter than it is. My phone boosts the greens and blues and reduces the reds. Too lazy to fiddle around with camera settings for a twitter update.

4 months in. The UV sterilizer cleared my water up in days. The horrible string algae is almost non existent these days. A shorter more dense green algae has taken its place. This new algae is way easier to manage. Shrimp population is booming. Going good
3 months in. I just got back from a 1 month vacation. Algae got out of control, which was expected. Seeing great growth on the swords, and ok growth on everything else. Just did a huge water change after grabbing clumps of algae.
