November 12th, 2016: Conor McGregor put on one of the greatest performances in MMA history when he dismantled Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 to become the UFC’s first simultaneous double champ. After the fight, McGregor was livid that the UFC didn’t have a 2nd belt for him, that led

There’s something about the first faceoff of fight week that captures everything I love about this sport. Two athletes who have spent weeks in sacrafice and discipline, far from family, friends, and anything resembling normal life. One prepares on one side of the world, the

November 11, 2016 — the UFC 205 weigh-ins at Madison Square Garden. The arena was filled to the rafters. In front of me sat a father and daughter; she was dressed as McGregor in the full “Gucci fur” look, literally handing out red panties to fans. Unreal. UFC 205 wasn’t just the

There is something both hilarious and amazing about Islam Makhachev buying a fishing rod at a local bait and tackle shop in Brick, New Jersey, and the owner posting the security cam photo with the caption: “Thanks for stopping by and showing the locals some love! He grabbed a

There’s no doubt that Cejudo is thinking: “Damn…this man wanted to pay me peanuts as a UFC double champ, made me retire in my prime for three years…and now he is showing me a closet where everything was bought by a personal shopper who can get any shoe in the world.” 👟🌎

Throwback to 2006 when Dana White read a text that Tito Ortiz sent him when Tito “pulled out” of their contracted “fight.” According to Dana, Tito had a clause put into his UFC contract allowing him to box Dana for 3 rounds… 20 years have gone by, but if Dana ever fought, it

When multiple past or present UFC fighters from the same management agency say they were approached to throw fights…and then delete it and or walk it back…that certainly raises questions. 🔺 Isaac Dulgarian faces fight-fixing accusations and investigation from this past

Dana White was asked for an update on the ongoing fight-fixing investigation and its impact on the sport’s integrity at the post-fight presser of UFC 282. His response was blunt: “Zero. Zero. I’m not worried about it at all…We let these guys know not to bet on fights. Do you

Yea, ESPNMMA is definitely correct when they inaccurately said “Isaac Dulgarian gets the job done.” 🧐 UFC’s Isaac Dulgarian’s odds plummeted just an hour or so before his fight with Yadier Del Vellé…then said favorite, Dulgarian, got dominated and submitted in the first

Can someone fill me in on why Gable Steveson wouldn’t shake Billy Swanson’s hand after that 15-second KO? What could Swanson have possibly said that had Gable so pissed that even after knocking him out in seconds, Swanson walks over to show respect and looked like Gable

Interestingly, if you go back and rewatch Conor’s post fight interview after losing to Nate Diaz at UFC 196, a lot of the comments point out the contrast between how he handled the loss and how Ronda handled hers at UFC 193 just months earlier, nothing about the loss itself.

The UFC antitrust lawsuit just got more INTERESTING 🧐 Dominance MMA, Ali Abdelaziz’s management company, was subpoenaed as part of the case Johnson et al. v. Zuffa, LLC (Reference: ECF 216, ECF 226 & ECF 245) The fighters suing the Zuffa/UFC want Dominance to hand over:

A UFC fight 1,100 plus feet in the air? You already know Dana and Turki have their eyes on Naium Sky Stadium. Set to be built for the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia. It will sit ~1,100+ feet in the air and able to hold ~46,000+ fans. UFC or boxing…I’d be very surprised if

Jon Jones: “I do poke people in the eyes and it’s very illegal, but I do it. It’s like if someone’s coming at me, I’ll just put my hand on their forehead and a lot of times they end up missing the punch that was intended for my face and sometimes it lands in peoples eyes. And
