Would be a big boost for us. Wilshere very well respected during his time with the u18s, Dowman's camp were unhappy about his exit. So would be great to have him back with the u21s managing Dowman again whenever he's not in the senior squad.

I think often what people think of as "historically true" about Arsenal is actually just whatever was the case when they were young. If you grew up with yellow away shirts, you probably subconsciously and incorrectly think it was always like that.
Arsenal are often historically thought as having a yellow away kit. However, the further through the club's history you go, the more common white alternative kits to the usual red & white home kit were. Yellow wasn't regular until the late 60s, early introduction in the 50s.

Funniest part is the report says he started training last week. So it's likely he was literally in training on the same day as idiots were complaining that he wasn't training.

In 2023, we'd finalised four loans by August 1st. In 2022, we'd finalised 13 by now!. I'm not going to go back through every summer but I don't remember a recent year where we reached August before our first.

It's unusual to be in August without a single player going out on loan so far. Even last year, when we didn't loan many players, we'd loaned Tavares, Lokonga, and Henry-Francis by now, with Marquinhos also already on loan.

People focus so much on the 'stay humble' comment that it's easy to forget he also threw a ball at Gabriel's head and asked Lewis-Skelly "who the f*** are you". Gabriel and MLS' celebrations back at him presumably had nothing at all to do with the 'humble' comment to Arteta.

The sole advantage of this game was financial. Any sporting benefit outweighed by the potential for (and reality of) injuries, nothing to enjoy as a fan, a fitness session we’re being forced to care about. Never play Spurs in pre-season again, please.
