The multi-million dollar settlement releases GE Vernova + Vineyard Wind from “any and all” claims + suits from those receiving compensation re: the 2024 blade incident. The town said it “would not accept” VW as a signatory, but VW still benefits from it.

Per new court filings, Trump's memo freezing offshore wind has delayed SouthCoast Wind by 2 years, pushing power generation to Massachusetts + Rhode Island to 2032 at earliest. The project is featuring prominently in the lawsuit filed in May by 18 AGs:
