Dylan O’Brien was originally supposed to play Jake Gyllenhaal’s brother in Michael Bay’s ‘Ambulance.’
He dropped out due to scheduling conflicts and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was eventually cast after the role was rewritten.
all the Al Pacino talk but this is my favourite Oscar announcement of the night. The class, the aura, the grace, the hand gesture, the little smile and look on Brendan Fraser's face. That's how you do it.
every Monkey Man review sounds like the best movie of all time but also sounds like Dev Patel is doing everything in his power to make sure he can never set foot in this country (atleast for the next 5 years)
You got Zack Snyder, Ray Fisher, Ben Affleck and Chris Terrio sitting there and y'all are asking shit like "Will you ever come back to continue" "Will we ever see Green Lantern scene" "What advice would you give your younger self" be ffr 💀
Tapped out of Everything Everywhere All At Once. Got to about the 20 minute mark when Waymond Wang took out a whole group of guards by himself. Maybe the rest of the movie is amazing, but it already lost my interest. So finishing off The Sandman is now the order of the evening.
Chris Evans says he has avoided hosting SNL like “the plague” for years:
“It’s terrifying to me… I’m not a funny person. Maybe I only feel that because I have very, very funny friends who once told me I’m not a funny person.”
MONKEY MAN is brutally violent, against the villains, but also against the hypocrisy of religion, the tyranny of caste, and the oppression of a corrupt government. Dev Patel nailed it, bloody as hell and intense as fuck.
MONKEY MAN is more than just a bloody good time. Dev Patel takes his time with the storytelling, weaving personal tragedy with inner strength, mythology with modern political revolutions. It’s an action tour de force, full of talent and fucking passion in every frame.
