Foxglove keeps building what robotics customers need, hiring amazing folks, and adding investor like @AlexandraSukin and @jeremyl at @BessemerVP to the cap table. Amplify is excited to double (triple?) down on @adrianmacneil and co.

50% engineering, 50% GTM, 50% fundraising. He speaks the truth. Honestly I feel like these ratios are true in any startup. Even more true in hardware though.
Everyone in the ReInd movement needs to quit complaining about capital allocators not wanting to fund you. Deep Tech if you're not Elon or Palmer is 50% engineering 50% GTM & Ops 50% capital markets. And yes that adds up to 150% because all three are 10x harder than an AI wrapper

Agreed; it's my first time attending a developer conference instead of an academic conference. Really got me thinking deeper about deployment-in-the-loop model iteration. Also thanks for the photo feature :D

I actually donβt think modern society can accept death at the hands of a corporation (even if it might be more optimal). If a robot kills your child, the argument that it prevented 10 other hypothetical deaths will not console you. AVs need to be as safe as modern airlines. I
The CEO of Waymo is asked: "βWill society accept a death potentially caused by a robot?" She responds: "I think that society will."
