API versioning - uri/header/both/something else?. I've seen some discussion about avoiding versions in uris but without the reasoning as to why. Anyone know what's the current good/common practice?.

After about 16 hours of building it's finally done.

(For future reference, it is because the content of the request gets disposed after the request is made. This was changed in .net core 2.1, .

After almost two solid days of debugging this, it turns out that this problem arises if you retry a request within an HttpMessageHandler - but only on .net framework, as it works fine in .net core. And *all* of the blog posts and SO answers are all talking about .net core.

Anyone know how to diagnose why HttpClient isn't closing its underlying TCP connections in .Net? We're doing all the recommended things (e.g. using IHttpClientFactory, disposing of responses). #dotnethelp.

Did some tidying up of my team's Azure resources last week. As a result, managed to save £10k per year by turning things off we weren't using (confirmed by checking the daily costs for the last few days). 🤑.
