Intuitive thinking doesnt equal science! Excellent study and a note that radical cystectomy remains the gold standard in managing aggresive bladder cancer!(High-very high risk NMIBC and MIBC).
Radical cystectomy vs bladder-sparing: QOL better (!) and less anxiety in radical cystectomy in the large prospective observational CISTO study. Surprising results and food for thought! Congrats @angiesmith_uro and team on an impressive effort. @AmerUrological

4/ Step 1️⃣: Initial Management.We resolved the immediate issues:.Bladder washouts to address infection. TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate) to improve urinary flow. Right-sided ureteric stent placement to maintain drainage. But this was just the start.
