Nope . Our languages have been around for more than 300 years and will continue to thrive . What we are against is a false sense of entitlement . I worked ina global french bank and the moment there are only Indians in the call - the language automatically shifts to hindi - why ?
@ikpsgill1 Only these southern states have this false sense of superiority about their language. They think their language will vanish every time someone starts speaking in Hindi. They have no problem with English.

Do RCB players know Kannada? No. Are they representing Karnataka? Yes. But nobody will harass cricketers for not knowing even a few words of the language. Nobody will ask them to leave the league. But sure torture bank employees & vegetable vendors for not knowing the language.

Nope . Couldn't survive in delhi without hindi . Nobody spoke in English. Even the numbers were in Hindi. First thing I learnt was numbers 1 to 100 in hindi . And it took like 20 minutes of my time learning it

What an idiotic rationale . The girl isn't doing business whilst speaking to an auto walla . It's a convenience problem . I enter a restaurant in Italy with "bonjourno". Learn 100 words if you want to live in a city that doesn't speak your language. Simple
