Goa Ironman 70.3 .1.9k swim 90k bike 21k run - 7.35. Gruelling conditions both heat & humidity…a sufferfest .Happy to be back here for the 4th time…wasn’t sure if I should race it as hadn’t trained much, was the last athlete to register a week ago as wanted to keep continuity

Legendary runner Sardar Fauja Singh aged 114 died in a road accident. He was out for a walk when a vehicle hit him. The oldest runner to have run marathons as well as carry the torch at the Olympics and Commonwealth games. What an unfortunate way for the great runner to go !!!
