The Villars sold Prime Water then immediately signed the licensing deal for ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Channel. For sure, they'd use the money they earned from Prime Water to expand AllTV aside from buying the Kapamilya license. Business is business.

This is big. It feels like ABS-CBN returning to its original home as "Kapamilya Channel" will air and not just its selected shows. So, even Mr. Peter Musngi's voice and ABS-CBN plugs will be shown except the fact that it is just airing the cable channel.
THIS JUST IN: Starting January 2 2026, Kapamilya Channel will now air on AllTV Channel 2. This comes after AMBS inks licensing agreement with ABS-CBN. Prime ABS-CBN programs will continue to air on A2Z, as well as 'It's Showtime' and 'Pinoy Big Brother' on GMA.

yep. ang nakikita ko ngayon, possibly all from PBB. Fyang, Kai, and Bianca. Three of them have undeniably large followings; kailangan lang ng successful movie (possibly this MMFF) and teleseryes. they also have TV commercials and brand endorsements.
Hot take: wala nang Kapamilya young actress trifecta kasi hindi na gumagawa ng romance-themed series ang ABS-CBN (whether light like OTWOL or heavy like MSKM)

BOYCOTT TV5. Just say you want all ABS-CBN-produced shows out of your struggling network just so you can replace it with Viva contents. There is definitely no need to make up stories that ABS-CBN didn't pay you P1 BILLION, when in fact they settled it already.
