I was nervous to approach Ezra about focusing on poker since it meant I’d have to step back from @startinglinevc. But he was supportive in every way possible, and his killer pre-seed instincts kicked into gear….

A little thread on someone who is too humble to ever write it themselves. Two years ago our dear friend + former partner @adeolonoh decided to transition to poker full time. Yesterday, he placed 13th in the largest World Poker Tour Championship ever out of 3,850 players.

At @WSOP payouts, most people seem to resist tipping dealers because they’re put on the spot and feels awkward. A little social engineering would go a long way (e.g. “would you like to tip dealers 1% of your winnings?”). More tipping = better dealers. @JackEffel @Kevmath
