she does have blades and zanka Does use them to fight trash beasts, but against a person he tends to hit to harm. you could kill someone with it obviously but it’s more suited for, to put it simply, beating the shit out of someone until they give up . defeat then incapacitation

you ever consider the fact that assistaff is a blunt, technically non-lethal weapon in her unactivated state… when fighting people, compared to eg. the ripper that would basically kill on hit, even activated assistaff is more suited for inflicting pain rather than killing. hm.
