@Noahpinion 1. because half of gaza supports hamas, and nobody wants to import a million supporters of hamas 2. all of israel's neighbors want israel to be an arab muslim nation, so why on earth would they permit a mass exodus of arab muslims from israel?

@adamnash @micsolana @Noahpinion That is correct. Egypt is doing a fine dance between a secular military leadership vs the religious right (Muslim brotherhood). They are not eager to tip the scales towards fanaticism.
