What is the best way to prepare for our upcoming #ScienceComedy shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival? Watch a comedy show with other scientists! We decided to leave the lab and head to Brunswick to watch some up-and-coming comedians perform. Such a fun night!

Two weeks in a row now we have finished the night with an extremely tense and close Poppygander Blood on the Clocktower game (@BloodClocktower). It think Poppygander is fast becoming my favourite custom script to play in person. ๐

"Is the sun alive?" "Are the stars alive?" "Is the moon alive?" "How does gravity make things move?" "Does the moon move?" "What are the cracks on the sun?" (i.e sun spots and flares) "Is the sun hotter than it is at the equator?" "How do we know what the sun is made of?"

Just got to speak with a bunch of 5-6 year olds about the Sun and if it is alive and they had lots of amazing questions.

So this morning I woke up to my building actually being on fire. I live on the 7th floor, but there was so much smoke going past the 3rd floor as we evacuated it was surreal. ๐ฑ

I'm attempting to use the Victorian Energy Compare website. It keeps telling me that the rates I currently have are way too low and to check them. But I have checked them like 10 times. I apparently got a deal so good the Vic Gov website doesn't believe me.

"Professional women are a problem for the liberal party. " If your problem is that you are unliked by smart and profesional women. Then maybe the issue isn't the women. The problem is you and your policies. #AusPol2022

I got to talk about this image today in my year 9 trials! We aren't covering black holes, but it gave me a chance to show them one of the reasons they should care about photons before then bringing out the Nerf guns @einstein_first
We finally have the first look at our Milky Way black hole, Sagittarius A*. Itโs the dawn of a new era of black hole physics. Credit: EHT Collaboration. #OurBlackHole #SgrABlackHole Link: https://t.co/Ax7ECRVg8A

New supercomputer coming to Swinburne! If you watch the video closely you will be able to see me! ๐
This isnโt any ordinary computer. Itโs Victoriaโs fastest โ processing data one million times faster than the laptop you might be using now. And it will help keep Victoria at the forefront of research. Thatโs why weโve invested $5.2 million towards the project. (1/2)
