My 2023 domain sales by venue - 63% direct, 13% sedo, 24% afternic. Afternic (owned by GoDaddy) charges 25% commission, which is borderline evil. Maybe I should turn them off? Buggy, bad, and expensive.

Another tidbit from today's chapter. A whopping 50% of small business websites use @yoast. 34% are using Contact Form 7. 24% use @WooCommerce.

Another tidbit from the report - Google My Business sites have a silly meta description formatting bug. Google search can't parse the buggy meta descriptions on Google My Business sites. @JoyanneHawkins and I tracked this down. Can you spot the bug below?

In case it isn't clear from my graph - @wpengine is blowing away the competition in terms of Google rank, correlating with a 23% boost in rankings compared to the average small business website. An absolutely amazing stat for them.
