Both come from humble backgrounds, where simple dreams and hard work paved their path. Alongside their rigorous training, they have kept their studies strong—proving that academics and sport can grow hand in hand.

I am proud to share that two of our first‑year KISS University students, Ms Tikki Mohini Mallik (64 kg) and Ms Mina Santa (55 kg), have been selected to represent India at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships 2025 in Ahmedabad.

My sincere thanks to the Association of Indian Universities and every member of the KIIT support team for their untiring service and devotion to our young champions.

I am happy that the KIIT played a pivotal role in supporting India’s contingent of over 300 university athletes at Rhine-Ruhr—ensuring smooth travel, logistics & other assistance. With Mahaprabhu Jagannatha’s blessings, we doubled our medal tally from the last Games (6 versus 2).

Heartiest congratulations to Mr Abinash Mohanty of KIIT University, whose dedication and courage helped India’s University Badminton team win Bronze at the World University Games 2025. This is KIIT’s 6th medal of the tournament and India’s 12th overall.

Proud day for KIIT & India at the World University Games 2025 in Germany! Our students alone brought home 5 medals in one day—3🥈& 2 🥉—lifting India’s total to 12 & securing 20th place overall. This remarkable feat makes KIIT the highest-medalling university in this edition. 1/3

They spent time with our children, heard their dreams, and blessed them. The bright faces and simple joy of our students filled my heart with gratitude.

We were honoured to welcome His Excellency Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, @GovernorOdisha, and First Lady Dr Jayasree Kambhampati to KIIT & KISS today. He explored classrooms, labs, sports grounds, and community halls—and was delighted by our greenery, clean campus, and lively spirit.

Congratulations to our Indian Mixed Badminton Team for winning India’s first-ever badminton medal—a Bronze in the Mixed Team Event at the World University Games 2025. We are proud that so many of our KIIT students formed the heart of this squad.

Happy to visit our Balasore and Mayurbhanj schools today, just after they reopened from summer vacation. The eager faces and curious questions of our KISSians made me very happy. I encouraged them to enjoy every lesson and every moment of play.
