I get Childress being upset about it, but I'm not entirely sure what the legal standing would be in this situation. I'm no lawyer, but it would seem to me that personal opinions in private texts probably don't constitute as something could sue over.

Louis Rossman has a comment that I think applies to this @YouTubeTV and @espn @Disney fiasco. When it becomes easier to pirate software than it is to pay for it, there's a problem. And even if you obtain the ESPN app legally, you get spammed with ads. It's easier to pirate.
