A group of 8th grade @gmseagles were inspired to do a prank today. @GmsCounseling & I helped them accomplish pranking @PrincipalMason1 on the last day of school. They decided to be holding a meeting in his office about the economy when he arrived. They got him - he was stunned.

Huge thanks to Mr. Burch & the 7th grade Intro to @GoochlandDrama class for lending their skills and time as we captured footage/b-roll for a project with @SmartPassCo. They were professional and patient as we had them act like they were students in class. @GMSEagles

I just want to remind my @glndschools friends that our insurance covers night guards from the dentist. I just heard how much the guy next to me had to pay… take advantage of our good dental insurance!
🚨GCPS PSA 🚨 Our @glndschools dental insurance covers night guards. Two nights in and it has been life changing. At night I look like this 😬 but I sleep like this 😴 and don’t wake up like this 😖 anymore.

I am loving seeing & hearing (!) how the kids are thinking in her classroom. So impressed at the risk taking as well!!! @GMSEagles
Erin Halye has taken on the challenge of truly pushing students to THINK in her math classes by engaging students not only in doing math but THINKING about math. She has approached this shift with eagerness & excitement and has even opened her room for others! #MaximizeGCPS

The @GMSEagles LC is WORKING this week!
Super fun few days in the GMS LC- our 7th grade history classes have been BUSY! Voss and @aburton__’s students created museum exhibits & Singleton’s students came to view their final products. Dressel’s classes did a trench warfare simulation for their WWI unit. @PrincipalMason1

Block 4: Last class of the day with their presentations. During their museum/showcase time they started noticing which presentations were more engaging to view. iMovie trailers and Instagram accounts and 3D models seemed the most popular and easy to learn from.

Eagle Block: Ate my lunch while helping a few kids on their projects. Got to play with @scratch to help a game about the “History of Helmets” happen.
