Seeing GPT-5.1-Codex-Max be first in terminal bench 2.0 is nice because it is within the Codex CLI harness, which means it measures something that is readily usable by all with a $20 ChatGPT subscription, without tricks. It also makes me very excited for the weeks to come.

A funny thing I see at work - people leaning over their keyboards and launching a bunch of Codex tasks right before heading to lunch. It’s become my favorite "anec-metric" for how much a team is using AI.

It has been amazing to watch the progress of the Codex team; they are beasts. The product/model is already so good and will get much better; I believe they will create the best and most important product in the space, and enable so much downstream work.
