Appart from a great view from our Airbnb, the most valuable we got out of our in-person visit to the client : little side talks, that create connections. That make it really easier to work remotely. To pick up the phone and ask a question. To understand non verbal communication.

🧵⬆️But failure, like success have many parameters. Don't stop at the first cause for why something went wrong, and especially don't get discouraged if it didn't get the 100% expected result. Keep looking.

Remember the North Star: if success can be represented by one metric, it isn't just one thing, but a mix of some carefully chosen input metrics. When things go wrong, we often look for the one fix. 🧵⬇️.

So, I stepped out of my confort zone for 40 min… ! @mamund and Matt McLarty invited me on the API experience podcast, and we had a little chat about APIs-as-Product .

🧵⏫Lacking API integration could mean missing out on a sizable chunk of your potential customer base. Stay ahead by prioritizing adaptability and interoperability.

Enjoying nap time to go through an a Machine Learning online class. It’s one other thing I love about APIs. It gets you curious about a lot of adjacent things. Expertise they could bring from a company to another. An architecture that they could simplify. So many possibilities….

Sometimes, people will not hear your opinion. Will refuse to debate. Giving very unpleasant conversation. They’re either not ready yet to discuss, or you’re not the right person to open their mind. Either case, save energy. Don’t force it.

I just love a good status page. It makes a problem less frustrating : I know it's not just me, and that people are working to resolve the issue. Of course a status page is useless without a great monitoring behind but that a topic for another day !.Kuddos @DeepLcom

APIs make it possible for different applications to work together seamlessly, enabling functionalities like data sharing, integration, and automation. From fetching weather updates to making online payments, APIs are the invisible but essential components.

🧵🪡3/3.Well that’s what APIs do. They network. They connect applications together. They connect companies, business, strategies and help them thrive. They bring data, expertise where it’s needed. It’s in their nature. I love APIs because we are alike 😊.

6🪡- When I became a freelance, I branded myself as B2B product manager, because I didn't know you could make a whole career revolve around APIs. I started working on a B2B product with no APIs. It taught me it's not the B2B side of APIs that I love. It's the API side !.
