A third tanning salon in Carlow Town has gone up in flames after a car reversed into the front of the shop. The driver fled the scene. This is the third fire involving a car crashing into a tanning salon in the town. The last incident happened last month.

A man was seen to allegedly assault a young woman in the Pollerton Road area of Carlow Town at approximately 11am on Thursday May 2nd. Gardaí are concerned for the safety of the woman. If you are the woman or know her please contact Carlow Gardaí.
