In over three decades on screen, @iamsrk has gone from Bollywood’s anti-hero to its king of romance to its newest action star — and he’s not done. More by me in @thetribunechd on the Baadshah of Bollywood’s 60th! Happy birthday to the King šŸ‘‘

Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. "The End of an Era", a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on @DisneyPlus beginning Dec 12 🫶

Absolutely. Imo it should be considered treason to go against the basic structure of the constitution (which includes secularism as per multiple Supreme Court rulings)

A religious/theocratic nation will inherently persecute its minorities/marginalised — and denying that is nothing but apologia for theocracies

A religious/theocratic nation which does not persecute its minorities/marginalised and poor is anyday better than a secular one that does.

Indians going depiction = endorsement is a sign of the harm our commercial films do, spoonfeeding audiences everything, encouraging them to leave their brains at home, telling them what to feel. if you think Dil Se’s depiction of the military is complimentary, read up!

This "studio" journalist needs to be reminded that Pakistan Army exports terror to India and that is why India responded. Stop victim blaming and twisting facts to obfuscate Pak military's terrorism sponsorship. Oh or maybe you won't do that cuz you love the generals so much...

India should take credit for strengthening hands of Pakistan army. You guys are responsible. Stupid attack on Pakistan in May unleashed by war monger and populist PM Modi to gain votes in Bihar elections followed by applauses has further strengthened its grip on power. Any war,

From a subcontinental perspective, Mamdani quoting Nehru is ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ Because intentionally or not, it 1) Makes Hindu nationalists mad as Nehru stood against the bigotry they espouse 2) Makes PakNats mad as Nehru stood against the bigotry that forms the foundation of their very nation

I will continue repeating this till I can’t, Pakistani liberals use Zia as shorthand to pretend that the Pakistani state had any moral standing to begin with. It was always a debased idea and Jinnah fully participated in the deliberate confusion that is the hallmark of Pakistan

Is it even possible anymore? The Islamisation project of Zia ul Haq is so far advanced that it has colonised many public spaces and polarised society. Your thoughts...

ā€œAI filmmakersā€ LMAO ok šŸ˜‚ Out of the innumerable annoying things that have happened since the advent of Gen-AI, perhaps nothing is as annoying as the fact that talentless incompetent hacks think they deserve a seat on the table with actual intelligent, talented individuals

I moved from San Francisco to Mumbai to host India's Biggest AI Film Festival And I have never seen such hypocrisy Bollywood "A-listers" don't want to associate with AI because of public opinion, but then ask us if they could get intros to our AI filmmakers to hire them Many

I still remain excited about season six though based on the season 5 ending This is the first time a murder has come TO the trio and that really ups the odds imo — such a clever way to sidestep the ā€œin the buildingā€ limitation šŸ‘€

OMITB is one of the best shows that is running currently but the latest season was l underwhelming (compared to the amazing four-season run that preceded it) Many excellent opportunities to point towards a larger mystery and tie up lose ends from previous seasons were squandered

Today I saw an inappropriate AI-generated video of myself. I really loathe that this is what women on the internet have to deal with now. Just so you know, if you ask AI to make sexual videos of people and distribute them online, I think you are absolutely foul.

Is there any other country in the world where people willingly pollute the air and take noise to the toxic levels in the name of celebrating a festival?
