If Gary had not had that spell at Valencia, I would respect his football opinions more. As the saying goes, it is better to stay quiet and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. Maybe he should have stuck to punditry only, just like the loser, Jamie Carragher.

Many pundits in England said Thomas Frank would be a better choice for United than Amorim. This guy would have crashed out in his first week. If you can’t manage a small team like Spurs, how on earth do you think you can manage the biggest club in the world? No way.
