It’s great to see the WNBA expanding. For the Michigan Panthers, it’s not good news as it’s another team you have to compete with in terms of fan interest.

Per SBJ, PLL is averaging 277k viewers across the ESPN networks and just got a 5 year extension. Given that the UFL’s ratings on ABC/ESPN are considerably better than PLL, I believe the league is in alright shape with TV ratings. Just gotta work on the attendance lol.
Premier Lacrosse League landed a five-year media-rights renewal with ESPN, which will also take a small equity stake 🥍. The rights deal begins next season & runs through 2030, including games for the nascent Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League.

Per @PIUpdate - Fox’s 2 hour block of MasterChef and Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service this past Friday averaged 613k viewers. This did beat 4 out of the 10 Friday night UFL games this season. Wk 5: MEM-BIRM (467k).Wk 7: DC-SA (540k).Wk 8: MEM-SA (573k).Wk 9: STL-SA (540k)
