I've been active on Twitter for about a year now.
All this time I only focused on sharing content and making connections. I've never directly mentioned that I'm available for work – up until last week.
Guess which week got me the most amount of new leads, DMs and emails?
If you're starting out in design, looking for opportunities at solid design studios is the best thing you can do for your future self.
You'll have to juggle multiple projects and learn new things on the spot. And you will do it fast to meet the tight deadlines.

Fly to small town in thailand, get accepted by their people, learn the language, train in muy thai for a year and half, fight in a tournament, win the tournament, return to the USA and join the UFC, stay in shape and go undefeated in your weight class, retire and do an interview
Some designers don't hesitate to copy others' work 1:1 and share it on X for engagement. 15 landing pages crammed into a Figma file, most are essentially stolen.
If you lack respect for others' work, don't label it as 'giving back to the community'.

This is an edge case though. 99% of the time you’ll never see all 3 “indicators” at the same time.
Imo, it’s pretty cool that you can see what’s playing in any section of the app.
