One of Hazratganj’s iconic landmarks is Universal Book Sellers. Interacted with readers in Lucknow, signed copies of The Anglo-Indians: A Portrait of a Community. Happy to learn from the charming Mr Chander Prakash that initial two lots of my books at Universal were “sold out.”

Signed copies of The Anglo-Indians: A Portrait of a Community at Faqir Chand&Sons, Delhi, while Denise and I spent some quality time with Anoop Kumar, Mamta, and Abhinav. Got to know that the iconic bookshop was originally in Peshawar, and ‘reopened’ here at Khan Market in 1951.
