I was part of a sit-in in the Department of Finance in Dublin, Ireland, in 2010. The force used by An Garda Síochána to remove a bunch of us sitting in a lobby peacefully, unarmed, was way, way greater than anything the DC police forces are doing in the Capitol. Just saying.
