Still finding it hard to believe that that my thesis defense happened!! I feel so fortunate to have been a part of the awesome science going on in the Segura Lab. What a great 5 years it’s been! ✨🧪🔬
What a week the @seguralab had! We finished the week with ✨Dr. Alexa Anderson's✨ thesis defense! @aalexaandersonn gave an amazing presentation full of original drawings to bring science communication to a whole new level. It was an amazing journey. Congratulations Alex!

Had a blast presenting my work in today at #SFB2023! So many great talks in the new granular hydrogel session.
Congratulations to @seguralab graduate student ✨Alexa Anderson✨on a fantastic talk on her work to promote vascular structure formation in #MAPgels. Her presentation featured original hand-drawings to explain her science. Beautiful! #SFB2023

Though users of granular materials rely on 2D slice data to identify pores and make conclusions of their size and shape, this practice is not correct - nor is it truly able to represent what a pore is in a granular material. Lindsay Riley💁♀️@seguralab has something better for you.

Exciting to see our work published! It's been fun exploring the material properties of #MAPS. @EthanNicklow10 rose to the challenge and did an amazing job assessing diffusion in #MAPS. Grateful for my lab's support & Dr. Segura's guidance for this work!! @seguralab
📢 Calling all #MAPS users 📢 In our newest paper, we show that the particle fraction in #MAPS is key to driving cell responses. We improved the methods of #MAPS production to control this bioactive cue! #injectableporosity
