honestly it’s a terrible thing to read for a writer. sure some phrases are indeed overused a bit, but monitoring this will only make you anxious. and this is a matter of taste. I’ve seen ppl been grossed out by sth like “sliding down” or by the mere usage of the word “baby” 🤩

I stumbled upon a reddit thread abt the common words that writers use in m/m ff, and had an urge to never write again😜 but then I was like, “damn, fanfiction is for having fun” so yay to punched-out noises, blown pupils and darkening gazes 😁
