Lost my Mom to #Amyloidosis in 2003. Took nearly 10r yrs to be diagnosed and died 7 months later. No disease modifying treatments. Today it's unclear if she had AL or the yet to be identified #ALECT2 that disproportionately impacts Mexican Americans. Heartbreaking to see
