The whole OpenAI saga is straight out of Oedipus: The king, heeding the oracle's prophecy, fears his son Oedipus will kill him. (Ilya worries Sam will cause a AGI uprising) So, he abandons his son in the wild to die. (So, a coup is staged to oust Sam from the board).

My only comment on the Quest 3 ($499) headset just announced. Guys I’m a nerd, but this looks ridiculous. It looks like they are about to shoot lasers out of their face. Just the front casing being black would have made the 3 camera slots and back not look so bad.
