There was no change. henvcfg is missing. Still, Milk-V officially says that this is software-emulated.

If that means version 0.6.2, there is a slim chance that is compatible to the ratified version. In either case, I hope someone figures out whether this implementation of the hypervisor extension is usable (without much efforts).

Beware that EIC7700X (with SiFive Performance P550) implements the version 0.6 (not 1.0) of the hypervisor extension. If that means version 0.6.0, this is clearly incompatible with the ratified version (1.0) due to lack of the virtual instruction exception.

Shamefully, I have been pwned by CVE-2021-22204. My malware screening program (using exiftool) was exploited by a malicious DjVu file and it downloaded a cryptojacking malware.

This isn't a fair comparison. Not because RISC-V tends to generate more instructions for same operations on ARM64, RV64 code shown here is FAR FROM optimal (clearly, simple 11 instruction solution on RV64 exists).

I failed with a CAPTCHA test with apparently the most dirty answer I have ever seen but how can it be wrong?!.Actual answer was probably "fackok" but it's hard to see that "a" wasn't "u". This is a screenshot of actual CAPTCHA test on Google Books (back in 2017).
