Angela Davis warned us, she said, "Beware of those leaders who call upon us to protect our young black men but will beat their wives and abuse their children and will not support a woman’s right to reproductive autonomy. Beware of those leaders!"
I hired a genealogist to help me with a family tree. She found names, death certificates, photos, articles, about my family six generations back. Boy did I cry tears on that call.

The part the annoys me was Stevie J was so buck but was bluffing the entire time. Niggas ran up just to stop mid step while Joseline bodied niggas. He didn’t deserve the Puerto Rican Princess.

I remember one time I went to his church he said, “don’t give less than $20, if you need more money, there’s an atm here.” I honestly couldn’t believe my ears
I grew up going to Lexington Market, my mother and I used to get corn beef sandwiches, flavored water, and snickerdoodle cookies almost every week. This opportunity to do a mural inside is truly beyond my wildest dreams. I give thanks!
Read up! A story about a younger queer me, Baltimore’s voguing & ballroom scene, and a pinch of that New York legendary scene. Excited to finally share
@LIBGyal

I remember seeing Gangsta Boo, Trina, and JUNGLEPUSSY on Valentine’s Day in downtown LA. Hands down one of the best shows I’ve been too
Rip Gangsta Boo
Bro I just watched a video where a man was being accused of killing a 16 year old girl. The date of the killing he was at a dodgers game with his daughter, they were able to prove his alibi because Curb Your Enthusiasm filmed at the stadium that day.
She also said, "Beware of those leaders and theorists who eloquently rage against white supremacy but identify black gay men and lesbi- ans as evil incarnate."

Cars on fire, police wearing military gear shootin at us wit rubber bullets, & after I was assaulted by LAPD, I walked 1 block & saw Ray J sitting at the red light in a droptop Bentley during a fucking riot. He’s the only car on the road, while we were getting beat up by police.
I learned the more you settle and participate in opportunities that don’t FULLY serve you the more you’ll attract that.
You gotta make room for what you deserve and that doesn’t happen by saying yes to everything and settling
Just wrapped up work as a camera operator on a 2021 Netflix show. Shoutout to niggas seeing me and recognizing my skills beyond just still photography. Xo
I know there’s an audience for everything but Baltimore has a lot of narratives to offer movies and television and media. We are more than just crime, corruption, and the wire.
Iya just opened a Rehabilitation center in west Baltimore for the LGBT community. She’s probably tired of me telling her how proud I am of her but if there’s anyone in Baltimore who’s showing up for us, it’s DAMN sure her.

I don’t usually answer phone calls before 9AM, but an elder just called me to tell me how excited she was to see me in the Baltimore Sun paper. She said she cut out the article to save and even scanned it to her flash drive because she wants two copies.
Shan Wallace, the Baltimore artist behind the new installation at Camden Yards, created the mural as a way to pay respect to Baltimoreans and the neighborhoods they call home.
Yall get that ancestry work done! Also if your family has roots in Virginia, definitely look into it. Virginia did a solid job with their record keeping in comparison to other states.
To hear about my family members fighting in the Civil War and marching behind a flag that’s at the Smithsonian brought tears to my eyes and joy to my little heart.
Yo Lexington Market being demolished really hurts. That place was a symbol of our history. It is where anyone could get affordable food, groceries, medicine. I know it was in bad condition but the city didn’t have to neglect the market the way that they did.
@GoldWomyn
Lorraine too responded with “Everywhere there is Harlem” in other words Harlem is found everywhere and encompasses wholeness of Blackness. & then Specially speaking on migrants from the south, including her own from the Midwest. Many of the girls had critiques of Invisible Man
Just finished a deal where Black LGBTQ Baltimore history, like calendars, flyers, photographs are collected, archived, and cared for in the Maryland department at the library. I’m very excited for everyone.
