@USAA now what?!

If anyone has recommendations for reliable alternatives, I’d really appreciate it. This has been a nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Thanks for reading!

It’s been five months of this frustrating back-and-forth, and there seems to be no resolution in sight. My husband and I have decided it’s time to switch to another bank that caters to military families.

To make matters worse, USAA keeps sending documents to my online account, but I can’t access it because I haven’t been able to pass their identification process. My husband can’t add me to his account for the same reason. I also can’t monitor transactions on the card issued to me

I’ve already sent them multiple times, but they always demand I upload them again. The documents I’ve provided include my Kazakhstan passport, Kazakhstan driver’s license, SSN, and military ID (which, of course, cannot be copied or sent).

My husband is active duty, and we’ve been using USAA because of its focus on military families. However, this experience has been beyond frustrating. Every time I contact the bank, they ask me to upload my documents to their website.

Since July 25th, I’ve been stuck in an endless loop trying to complete my identification process with USAA.
