I just had what I thought was one of my best interviews I've ever had then turned around and had one of the worst interviews I've ever had. Both with the same company as interviews 1 & 2 of 4 over today and tomorrow. 😣😩

After 7 months of endless applications, coffee chats, interviews, etc., I have finally accepted a software engineer position at @myrocksbox. 🥰

Does anyone have any tips for a short 30 minute technical interview in React? The role is full-stack that leans heavily backend. The final round includes the above mentioned React IV and I am at a loss of how to prepare since I've never gone through a frontend IV before.

My faith that an interview process with any company will go smoothly or be pleasant has decreased immensely, but I’m still here showing up every single day trying to find my next role.

I’ve been ghosted by 5 different companies and received so many “there are more senior candidates in the pipeline” rejections than I can count. I’ve had multiple interviews cancelled the day of after spending multiple days preparing.

There are so many people in the same position that I am, searching for their next role and I feel for them deeply. The competition is fierce and the companies have the upper hand.

6 months. I started my current job search 6 months ago after being part of an unexpected 2nd round of layoffs. This is my third time being engrossed in a job search and I can honestly say that this round has been one of the toughest.

I’m over here praying that this was the last hiring manager interview I will have to go through for a few years.
