Of course, being open minded doesn’t mean being empty headed. But the invitation to persistently ask yourself “is my certainty helping or hurting?” is always at your disposal, fighting curiosity atrophy and humbly valuing what you don’t yet know.

Maybe more and more we’ll learn that the things that aren’t shared in the public eye are actually our most valuable moments of living. And that those moments are stories only we can tell.

Of course, the better the input the better the output. But perhaps that the real strength of AI (at least at the moment) is fetching the public moments of life. But is that … life? What about the many small, almost trivial moments that we unwittingly experienced much more often?.

We asked ChatGPT to write the obituary of our founder. It was a train wreck (not how he died, but the accuracy of the writing). Sure, it quickly accessed published information about him. Where he went to university. Where he lives.

Anyone else reading about writing? The book “Several short sentences about writing” suggests that most of the sentences you write will need to be killed. The rest will need to be fixed. For those of us turning our world into words, "how long is a good idea?”.
