By tying emissions to revenue generation, SN10 incentivizes useful, active liquidity. The TAO <> USDC pool makes it possible to buy and sell $TAO on-chain without a bridge or centralized exchange. Soon, this pool will power $SOL and $ETH to subnet alpha token swaps. (𝜏,φ).

Uniswap V3 LP miners are scored based on the amount of fees generated in the previous 24 hours. By tying emissions to revenue generation, SN10 incentivizes useful, active liquidity. No changes to the incentive mechanism are made for pool allocation miners.

The threshold is initially set to 20 pool allocation miners and 200 Uniswap V3 LPs. Miners who are Uniswap V3 LPs are queried every hour and are asked to respond with the positions they have alongside a signature to prove their identity.

SN10 is transitioning to a multi-incentive subnet, with emissions split across multiple tasks. Every 10 minutes, miners choose a task. Each task has a threshold for number of miners. If this threshold is passed, the lowest performing miners in the group receive a score of 0.

SN10 will play a critical role in both incentivizing liquidity and minimizing slippage. TaoFi will leverage SN10 to deliver the best price execution based on routes submitted by miners, playing a role similar to that of solvers in an intent-based architecture.

For example, users will be able to swap $SOL on Solana for native alpha on Bittensor by signing a single transaction from their Phantom wallet. Bridges and swaps will be abstracted away in the backend, with users retaining custody. All swaps will go through $TAO.

TaoFi leverages Hyperlane ICAs (Interchain Accounts), which enable users to make transactions on one chain (e.g. Solana) and execute them on another (e.g. Bittensor). Paired with TaoFi's bridges (also powered by Hyperlane), this makes it possible to buy alpha from other chains.

Today, buying alpha tokens requires downloading a Bittensor wallet, purchasing $TAO on an exchange, transferring it to the wallet, and then going through the multi-step process of selecting a validator and subnet. TaoFi reduces this entire interaction to a single transaction.
