Help me make sense of the city destroying something the residents did to make the neighborhood a bit safer. It cost the city nothing until they decided to destroy it.
LA residents wanted their streets to be safer so they created crosswalks. They were celebrated on the news for stepping up when the city fell short. So now the city is destroying the crosswalks 🫠
