just because antisemitism has been weaponized by israel doesnt mean it's fake. and finkelstein, the man you cite, just went on a podcast with a holocaust denier. fuck off
Thereās no āscourge of antisemitismā in NYC. Acts like these, while reprehensible, are often weaponized to justify Zionist narratives and repression of Palestine solidarity. Many past āantisemiticā scares turned out to be fake, like the Israeli Jewish teenager who made hundreds

person who is confused why they dont get invited to gay guy house parties voice:
The thing about Zohranās wife is that she is a very repulsive diaspora stereotype that every actual Arab knows who visits home and goes exclusively to gay house parties while eating ābeautifulā traditional meals but never genuinely indulges in the miseries of the society.

the usual dem strategy of chasing the middle never worked most obviously because the middle kept tracking right, but also because there's no such thing as a middle! you create the reality you want people to support! dont chase their fleeting sensibilities!

a good lesson from this campaign is "dont believe what ur enemy says." voters will vote for trump and then mamdani. the elite will say they're fleeing and then stay. libs will freak out and then support. take a strong position; bring people to you, not the other way around

wrote about how recent stats about a steep decline in drinking are nothing to celebrate, because they're basically just a sign that everyone is more lonely. for @GQMagazine

Skipping after-work drinks might be better for our bodies, but what happens to our social lives when alcohol is no longer part of the equation?

it turns out a big part of life and certainly a big part of being a leftist is OWING other people things. we need to owe people more things. we need to realize excusing your own agency is a psyop to make successful relations with others impossible. things being ur fault is good.

ā¦which gets us to the prototypical āsock/dishesā scenario: someone who uses therapy language to deny their own agency to do ANYTHING. but sock is an attractive way to obfuscate that all of us, whether sock or not, have begun to do this in less obvious and more acceptable ways

and semi tangentially: i think a big problem on āthe leftā right now is a conceptualization of its constituency as people without agency. this explains why this kind of instagram therapy is so liberal coded. weāve confused calling out oppression with an abdication of our agency.

i always joke going thru psychoanalysis made me more conservative. what i realize iāve meant by that is that it taught me i have agency and thus *blame* in almost every situation. it seems most therapy these days is primarily concerned with abdicating all blame for its subject

instagram therapy reel 1: he canāt be in a successful relationship because heās a narcissist psychopath. instagram therapy reel 2: you canāt be in a successful relationship because you have trauma and have only met narcissist psychopaths š„°

seriously i wonder what the effect of everyone individually being told everyone else is the problem does to a society lol. like u and ur ex are both agreeing with the same reel telling u the other one is the problem. that at a societal level canāt be good ā¦.
