I work in the business of both designing manufactured products AND commissions I had to stop taking commissions for awhile bc the demand was too great, and I could make more money designing a singular product to sell 1000 times, than 1 artwork for 1 person.

I will now share MY HOT TAKE on this subject I don't think every single commission artist deserves a singular, set amount. Some artwork is more valuable than others, and it usually comes down to the artist's current demand. The consumer sets the price essentially

I think this is the worst take I've ever seen
I want you guys to realize that in a market where people are mad at 80 dollar video games that takes years to produce you are trying to charge 100 bucks for a sketch you did in an hour.

Thank you very much for all the love on my KPDH piece 🩷 It was done traditionally! I use Dr Ph Martin concentrated watercolours. I used the Copic airbrush system for the background!
