For anyone interested it seems that the battery us screwed (6 months old) and I have to take it in.

Check out the latest software update @VanMoof - 70% battery drain in under 5 miles. Almost as funky as the battery drain while idle bug. You can see in the chart the drop where I powered down the bike after noticing an error code when pressing boost.. Assist level 1.
