Yesterday, UKS2 had a great time learning outside at Formby Beach. We explored the sand dunes, learned about unique ecosystems, and saw firsthand the effects of erosion and coastal defences. Such a fantastic hands-on geography lesson! 🏖️ 🌊 #sjsbGeography @StJosephStBede

We gathered together in our finest flame colours to represent the Holy Spirit just as it was when it first came upon the disciples during Pentecost. We celebrated this special day in our Church by listening to this amazing story and having lots of fun and games! 🔥 🕊️ 🎁

The Holy Year is an opportunity to change our life, reevaluate our thinking, and start anew by learning from Jesus and placing our hope in God. This is the meaning of the Jubilee pilgrimage. #JubileeAudience.

Mrs Pearson and I loved seeing all of our families together again and we were very grateful to our older children for guiding our younger ones on their journey and for helping to #MakeChristKnown @StJosephStBede ✝️.

Our KS2 children prepared our worship space as we continued celebrating the joy of Matthew’s Gospel. We reflected on the ‘Little Epiphanies’ in our lives, including how we see God’s kindness in those around us and how we can show that kindness by being respectful. #sjsbWorship
